Oliver Polak, born in Papenburg in 1976, is one of the most versatile entertainers of his generation. The comedian, who has won a Grimme Award and the German Television Award, recently shone in the rbb video podcast Besser als Krieg (»Better than War«), in the comedy series Your Life is a Joke on Netflix and on his talk show Gedankenpalast on BR. As a writer and columnist, he also likes to look deep into human abysses. Oliver Polak lives in Berlin. After Gegen Judenhass, L’amour numérique is his second book published by Suhrkamp Verlag.
