Johannes Groschupf receives German Crime Fiction Prize 2019


We are pleased to announce that Johannes Groschupf has been awarded first place at the German Crime Fiction Prize 2019 for his novel Berlin Preppers. He receives the prize in the category »National«.

Since 1985, a jury of crime critics, literary scholars, and crime fiction booksellers has been bestowing the award to authors who »lend new impulses to the genre with original content and literary skill.« Winners of recent years include Suhrkamp authors Simone Buchholz, Andreas Pflüger and Friedrich Ani.
