An impossible love…
About
Heidi lives at the North Sea coast and is about to celebrate her thirteenth birthday. Everything is changing: her wishes, her preferences, her body. And the way she views the world. Because she is in love for the first time.
But instead of making sheep’s eyes at the cool guys from her form or at the star of a boy group like all her girlfriends do, she has fallen in love with the captain of a deep-sea fishing boat – of all people! He is grumpy, lacking any sense of humour and massively annoyed by her infatuation. Whenever she finds the time, she is waiting for him at the harbor. And even though he only meets her with ridicule, she is not to be dissuaded, despite all obstacles.
A maritime coming-of-age story with a young heroine discovering love and wanting to discover new horizons…
Praise
»Vieweg skillfully achieves a balance between lightness and seriousness – in the most beautiful shades of the sea, between grey and deep blue.« Tagesspiegel
