»Il Borgo« is the name of an ancient villa above the sea. It has become a forteress, since the land surrounding it has gone crazy and has constrained the narrator, the sole person that has preserved his lucidity, into a state of beleague.

He tumbles through the »chambers of the past« and feels spyed on by his neighbours - an isolated citizen and a lonesome intellectual, who barricades himself in his own house against the dread of avalanching barbarousness. Bora Cosic describes in seven chapters the very sceneries of origin when it comes to European being. Land Zero, a radical mature´s age piece of work, is the consumption of a definitive farewell to Belgrade, the former sight of action of an European avantgarde.
