Michael Krüger
Michael Krüger was born in Saxony in 1943 and lives in Munich. While completing his training as a bookseller and printer, he attended seminars in the philosophical faculty of the Freie Universität in Berlin. Between 1962 and 1965, Krüger lived in London, where he worked as a bookseller. In 1966, he began working as a literary critic. Two years later, in 1968, he became an editor at Carl Hanser Verlag, taking the reins in 1986, before stepping back in 2013. Since 1981, he has been the editor of the literary magazine Akzente. He has published several volumes of poetry and short stories, as well as a number of novels.
