The crime fiction bookstore »Murder and More« has everything: classic whodunnits, Nordic noir, British black humour – and a cappuccino with cocoa on top in the shape of a revolver. Owner Julia Hortmann loves books, people, and a good riddle. She’s just never had a lot to do with real corpses before.

That all changes when a new, very conscpicuous tenant moves in next door – who carries suspiciously rolled-up carpets into his house at night. At the same time, there is a sharp rise in the deaths at the local retirement home where one of Julia’s regulars also lives.

The police dismiss her, but Julia is convinced that something’s not right. So she does what any bookseller with a passion for whodunnits would do – she investigates. Thoroughly. With flair, intelligence, and humour. And before she knows it, she’s right in the middle of a case that is more deadly than anything between the covers of a book…
