A shared apartment in Frankfurt/Main: Eva (fashion editor, art historian, »princess«), Genoveva (self-taught sexologist, research focus: autogynephilia and selfie culture) and Venus (androgynous model, cultural scientist, research focus: colonies of German Vormärz-emigrants in Texas, and particularly the history of the libertarian commune at the Llano river named after Bettina von Arnim). They shoot fashion spreads in the construction site of the European Central Bank, become witness to the police charging the Institute for Comparative Irrelevance, go dancing in the »Robert Johnson« and look for tenderness beyond a sexuality described as a prison by Freud, Foucault or Butler.

These are the main characters in a sometimes platonic, sometimes erotic, post-gender circle of love, orchestrated by Thomas Meinecke, feminist author, follower of female writing and author-protagonist in his own novel.
