Clemens J. Setz wins the Merck Kakehashi Award 2018

We are excited to announce that Clemens Setz has been awarded the Merck Kakehashi Award 2018 for Indigo.
Merck, one of the leading companies in the fields of science and technology, together with the Goethe Institute Tokyo, founded the Merck Kakehashi Award for authors and translators. This autumn the prize will be awarded for the third time ever. Its purpose is to support and honor contemporary German literature in Japan and to reward the efforts in translating German works of literature into the Japanese language. The prize, which is endowed with 10.000 Euros for both the author and the translator, is awarded every two years.
