Andreas Izquierdo, born in 1968, is an author and screenwriter. Among others, he has published the novels König von Albanien (2007), for which he was awarded the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction, and Apocalypsia (2010), for which he received the Lovelybooks Readers’ Prize for Best Book of the Year. His most recent publications include Romeo & Romy (2016) and Fräulein Hedy träumt vom Fliegen (2018).
