Elif Özmen, born in 1974, is Professor of Practical Philosophy at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen. Özmen’s research interests lie in the field of normative ethics, political philosophy and philosophy of science; she is currently working mainly on normative constituents of democracy, theories of (in)justice, truth, lies and politics, values in science and academic freedom.
