Fatma Aydemir

Fatma Aydemir was born in Karlsruhe in 1986 and studied German and American Studies in Frankfurt am Main. Her multi-award-winning debut novel Ellbogen was published in 2017. In 2019, she co-edited the essay collection Eure Heimat ist unser Albtraum. Her second novel Dschinns was published in 2022 and was shortlisted for the German Book Prize. In 2023, she co-founded the literary magazine DELFI.
