Jina Khayyer
Jina Khayyer is a writer, poet, painter and journalist. Born in Germany and of Iranian descent, Khayyer has been living in Paris and Provence since 2006. She writes in German, French and English for a number of publications in various countries, including The Gentlewoman, Fantastic Man and Apartamento. Her poems and drawings were recently exhibited at Kunsthalle Baden-Baden as part of the group exhibition SEA AND FOG (2024). In the Heart of the Cat is her debut novel and her first publication with Suhrkamp Verlag, and was longlisted for the German Book Prize 2025.
