Jina Khayyer

Jina Khayyer is a writer, poet, painter and journalist. Born in Germany and of Iranian descent, Khayyer has been living in Paris and Provence since 2006. She writes in German, French and English for a number of publications in various countries, including The Gentlewoman, Fantastic Man and Apartamento. Her poems and drawings were recently exhibited at Kunsthalle Baden-Baden as part of the group exhibition SEA AND FOG (2024). In the Heart of the Cat is her debut novel and her first publication with Suhrkamp Verlag.
