Sebastian Knell, born in 1966, studied philosophy, psychology and literary studies in Frankfurt/Main and Pittsburgh. From 2011 until 2010, he was a research associate at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Basel, Switzerland. Since 2011, he has been working at the Department for Science and Ethics at the University of Bonn.
