Stefan Gosepath was born in 1959 and completed his PhD in philosophy at Freie Universität Berlin. From 2004 to 2007, he was Professor for Practical Philosophy at the Praktische Philosophie an der Justus Liebig University Giessen, and from 2007 to 2009 Professor for Political Theory and Philosophy at the University of Bremen. Since 2009, he has been Professor for International Political Theory at Goethe University Frankfurt.
