In the south of Hamburg, the slow train of gentrification is charging ahead unabated. But would the speculators driving it really go so far as to beat an old couple to death? The whole thing sure does look like a message. And the pigheaded officials from the planning office are making themselves scarce.

Chastity Riley’s private life doesn’t look much better. Her boyfriend Klatsche is slipping dangerously close to the circles he’d been trying to stay away from, her friend Carla has accidentally fallen pregnant, and Chastity has a new colleague who is making her nervous. And to top it all off, ex-commissioner Faller keeps meddling in her case as a private investigator. But maybe that’s not such a bad thing...
