Claudia Teibler was born in 1967 and studied art history. She wrote for newspapers for many years before moving to magazines. As an author and editor, she has worked for institutions such as Condé Nast, Jahreszeiten, and Süddeutscher Verlag. In 2007, she published Warum Heiraten glücklich macht, in 2009 Darf ich bitten?, in 2010 the book Münchnerinnen, die lesen, sind gefährlich, and in 2022, Bayerische Suffragetten, all of which appeared with Elisabeth Sandmann Verlag.
